Mrs. Jennings is a teacher at Clearview Elementary. She graduated from York College of Pennsylvania and began teaching in 1993. Mrs. Jennings has earned her Master's Equivalency by completing coursework from Millersville University and Penn State University. In addition to her Master's Equivalency, she has earned an additional 60 credits of coursework throughout her years of teaching.
Her teaching career began in Southern School District as a long-term substitute in first grade. She also worked in Dallastown Area School District as an instructional aide for two years and a long-term substitute in second grade for one year. Mrs. Jennings then became a second grade long-term substitute for one year in the Red Lion Area School District. She then was hired as a contracted teacher with Red Lion and has been with the district for 19 years. Overall, she has experience teaching first, second, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. During the 2016-17 school year she will again be specializing in math. Math is her favorite subject area to teach. She enjoys sharing her passion for math with her students and helping them to understand the importance and relevance of math to their every day lives and future.
She has been happily married for 30 years. Her 21 year-old son is in his third year of college, and he studies architecture. She has several interests outside of school including camping with her family, golfing, gardening and cooking.
