Hi, My name is Carol Johnson. I currently teach 6th grade at Clearview Elementary School. I have been teaching for 19 years. This will be my 20th year. I started out teaching 5th grade at Chanceford Elementary. I taught there for 12 years before the school was closed. I then moved to Clearview as a 6th grade teacher. I was in that position for 2 years. After that I went to 5th grade again and stayed there for two more years. I was in 4th grade for 3 years and now due to smaller class sizes am returning to 6th grade. I hope to stay in this position until retirement. :)
I was born in NJ where I lived for 25 years. After high school, I attended a community college and got an associate's degree in information processing. I met my husband, Mike got married and moved to PA in 1989. We were together until he passed away in 2013. Together we had two beautiful, intelligent daughters. Our children attended Red Lion Area School District. Molly is now married and lives in California. Her husband, Kurt is in the Coast Guard. Emily is engaged to Mike, and they live in Hoboken, NJ.
While my children were growing up, I worked on and earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from York College. Once I was hired by Red Lion Area School District I worked on and earned a master's degree from Penn State York.
