Mr. Michael Langan

Mr. Langan is eager to start his first full year as Principal at Clearview Elementary School and to help create an exciting, engaging and enjoyable learning experience for all of its students. He earned his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at McDaniel College and his B.S in Health and Physical Education at West Chester University. Mr. Langan is presently pursuing his Superintendent’s Letter and EdD in Educational Leadership from East Stroudsburg University. 

In December of the 2021-2022 school year, Mr. Langan left Red Lion Area Junior High as Assistant Principal, where he served for three years, to be Clearview’s interim principal. He immediately noticed that Clearview was a special elementary school with great people. The staff at Clearview are all dedicated to the well being of the students. The children are polite and personable, which is a direct reflection of the parents and guardians that make up Clearview’s community. 

Prior to working in the Red lion Area School District Mr. Langan was a Physical Education teacher from 1996-2009 at Eagle View Middle School in the Cumberland Valley School District. From 2009-2016 he served as Eagle View Middle School’s Assistant Principal. Mr. Langan also coached wrestling in the Cumberland Valley School District from 1996-2011.

Mr. Langan lives in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania with his wife of 26 years. They have two children, one dog, and one cat. In Mr. Langan’s free time he enjoys mountain biking, running and walking with his wife and dog.
