Mrs. Koppenhaver is a Kindergarten teacher at Clearview Elementary, where she has been teaching for 15 years. A proud graduate of the Red Lion Area School District (Class of 2003), she went on to earn her teaching degree from Penn State Harrisburg in 2009. She later continued her education, completing a Master’s in Leadership from York College in 2019.

Passionate about finding new and creative ways to help her students learn and grow, Mrs. Koppenhaver was nationally recognized in February 2025 for her innovative teaching style, earning a nomination for Personalized Classroom of the Year—one of only three teachers in the country to receive this honor.

In 2011, the same year she joined the district, Mrs. Koppenhaver married her husband. They now have four children—Mark (25), Sarah (23), Audrey (12), and AJ (10)—and a dog named Rocky. When she’s not spending time with her family and friends, she can often be found near the water, enjoying boating, fishing, crabbing, surfing, or simply relaxing on the beach.
