Clearview School Counselor

Mrs. Chanda Barley is the Elementary School Counselor at Clearview Elementary. This is Mrs. Barley’s 16th year serving in education.  She attended Lebanon Valley College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education. She received her Master of Science in School Counseling from McDaniel College. As the school counselor, Mrs. Barley works with students individually, within small groups, and during whole classroom lessons.  Topics discussed in lessons throughout the year include conflict resolution, coping skills, friendship skills, self-esteem, and career.  Small group topics may include social skills, grief and loss, stress and anxiety, and anger management. Parents, students, and teachers may refer concerns to Mrs. Barley as needed.  

Mrs. Barley is married with 3 children.  She enjoys baking, being outdoors, playing soccer, and spending time with her family.   Mrs. Barley is looking forward to another great year at CV!
