Mrs. Kurtz

Hello! I am Mrs. Kurtz and I am very excited to spend another wonderful year at Clearview Elementary! My first year at CV was 2021-2022, and I have since fallen in love with the school and all of the community members that make it so special.

 

In 2021, I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University and Schreyer Honors College. I completed both undergraduate and graduate course work at Penn State's main campus. I graduated with distinction in all of my programs. I earned a Bachelors of Science with honors in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, a minor in Special Education, as well as a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in language arts education. I am a certified PK-6 teacher and PK-12 reading specialist.

 

In May 2021, I married my high school sweetheart. My husband and I love playing with our two goldendoodles, Chloe and Grace. In my free time, I enjoy walking my dogs, listening to music, playing with my 6 nieces and nephews, volunteering, and traveling to new places! I have been to many countries such as the Bahamas, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Morocco, Spain, Uganda, and the United States of course. I hope to visit more countries, as well as travel across the USA.

 

I am thrilled to be a member of the RLASD community, and am honored to spend another amazing year at CV!
